Here's how you do it on the Mac. Go Preference(command + ,) > Advanced > Network > Click on Settings > Click on "Manual Proxy Configuration" > You can find the "HTTP Proxy" & "Port" at this site HERE . Be sure to pick the country United States & try again.
For windows, click on Tools & then the steps are similar to the Mac's.
